Is She Gone Before Dawn

Cover Front

‘Co-owner of Savoir Records Thomas Laurén, has done it again. He delivers a package of 3 deep, solid tracks. The first track ‘ Is She Gone Before Dawn’  has a constant hypnotic drive. The routine of life. Beautiful strings, that enrich the atmosphere,  will bring an end to the routine and lifts up the moment to higher grounds. But like every moment in life, it won’t last forever. ‘Extend Life’ was made during that period in life, which everybody goes through. A period filled with questions, the search for a higher truth, statements and believes. The rhythm will remind you once more.’

Waste No Time

‘The newest release on King Fu is also from one of the new and upcoming producers of Holland. After releases on Wolfskuil & the start of his own label, one can say he is the upcoming man in the Netherlands. Thomas Lauren is the Brite new star of the melodic techhouse sound of Holland.’

Limit Life

‘Limit Life is a melodic little monster, tearkjerking and extatic at the same time. It fits the Wolfskuil profile more then well. The build up is tense, with excellent use of vocals that give the track an irie feel. The melody and stabs that surround it are of great beauty and have a vibe that fits the Dutch summers, with it’s radical shifts between sun and rain, to well. Juan Sanchez (Smoke Records, Wit) is on remix duties on the flipside. The Dutch/Spanish producer uses the most important elements from the original and brings it to an overwhelming climax. The intimacy from the original is not lost in the waves of effects and filters of this dancefloor monster, which in our opinion is a job very well done!’

Fairwinds Gossip

‘On the previous release of Dualblock Taras van de Voorde, Estroe and Thomas Lauren all dropped great tracks. On this release the same three Dutch producers are represented. Thomas Lauren on the a-side comes forward with >Fairwinds Gossip<. A quality track that is great for warming up any crowd. On the flip side Estroe takes us a little deeper into the night with >Beatbox Contest<. A techno based track with a nice drive, making clear Estroe is influenced by the Detroit sound’
